Application Questions

The deadline for scholarship applications is March 31, 2025. We recommend submitting your application at least two weeks before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.

Yes, you can apply for multiple scholarships, but you can only accept one Chinese government scholarship. We recommend applying for your top choice first, then indicating alternative preferences.

Requirements vary by program: Bachelor's programs require HSK 4, Master's and PhD programs require HSK 5, and Chinese language studies require HSK 3. Higher scores increase your chances of selection.

Scholarship Questions

Full scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation, monthly living allowance (¥2,500-3,500), comprehensive medical insurance, and a one-time settlement subsidy (¥1,500-3,000).

Scholarship students are generally not permitted to work during their first year. After the first year, part-time work may be allowed with permission from your university and the Chinese authorities.

Competition is strong but manageable. In 2025, we awarded 134 scholarships. Success depends on academic excellence, HSK scores, recommendation letters, and a compelling study plan.
